Fall 2015 Newsletter and updates from Chuck Loeb

Hello Fellow Guitarists!

Back off the road from great gigs all over the world, I am checking in with the greatest guitar hang ANYWHERE - ArtistWorks!!

Hope all of you are doing well and guitaring to your heart's content.

I recently finished a tour of Asia with Fourplay where we debuted music from the 25th Anniversary CD "Silver". We had many great shows, of which one highlight was The Tokyo Jazz Festival, where we were joined by original member Lee Ritenour, and my immediate predecessor in the band Larry Carlton. What a thrill to sheare the stage with these two masters!

Here's a pic of us at the rehearsal:

I also want to share info about upcoming gigs and activities, so here is my latest newsletter with a link to all the shows.

I hope to see some of you if we come to your area, and of course looking forward to your VE's!

Hello all,

It's hard to believe it's almost October, and there is already a slight chill in the air in New York. Amazing...

The summer was pretty fantastic, with a bunch of production work and live gigs. I just returned from Asia where I played 10 amazing shows in Japan and Korea with Fourplay. We debuted music from our new CD "Silver", and the reaction from the fans was fantastic. The first night featured Lee Ritenour and Larry Carlton joining us on the single from the CD, "Silverado". The crowd at the Tokyo just festival went wild. It was a real treat to share the stage with those two monsters.

I did a few Jazz, Funk, Soul shows this summer with my buddies Everette Harp and Jeff Lorber. We are also in the process of recording our next CD which will be out in 2016. I'll keep you posted on that.

On August 20 my collaboration CD with Eric Marienthal "Bridges" was released. I am very excited about this project and hope you get a chance to check it out on iTunes or Amazon.com or any other outlet where do you find your favorite music.

Coming up I have a few JFS shows in United States in October before I leave for Europe on another Fourplay tour at the end of the month. I just posted all the dates on my website so you can see them there.

The year will finish up with two exciting engagements: the first week in December Fourplay Will be at the New York City Blue Note club for six nights.

Then I will be back in Japan for four nights at the Tokyo Cotton Club to perform the music from the Eric/Chuck CD. Beginning December 28 we will end 2015 and bring in the new year in Tokyo!

We are continuing work on Carmen's new CD of originals all sung in Spanish. Breathtaking music. Christina has been working on her own music and will be putting together a project of her own! Very exciting.

Lizzy is on Broadway!!!! She is in the show "Spring Awakening" as the understudy for the three main female roles! Lizzy Spring Awakening Playbill

I hope to see you at one of these upcoming shows and look forward to hearing from you on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and in person!

Wishing you all health, happiness, peace, and the very best,

Chuck
