I had a great time on Saturday night having dinner with Larry DiMarzio and his wife Gina. Also at the dinner were Steve Vai, Richie Kotzen, and Billy Sheehan. We talked, and laughed, and ate, and ate, and ate. Larry DiMarzio knows pickups, and he knows Italian food. I'm glad to know him! (and Steve, Richie, and Billy as well!) Now, I'm going to go play some notes through my Air Classics...
Rock and Roll!

What is the real secret to playing an indestructible chicka, having super-controlled vibrato, and playing faster than a cheetah chasing a gazelle? Having the right t-shirt can only help! I have some excellent Paul Gilbert t-shirts that I brought back from my last couple of European concert tours. You can get them here:
http://www.paulgilbertonlineshop.com/shop/
A custom pick comes with each order, and seriously, when you wear the shirt your playing will become 5% faster.
Thank you!

I'm totally satisfied with my original Ditto Looper pedal, but for some awesome extra features, check out the X2!
The promoters of the G4 Experience asked me to come up with a promotional video for the camp. I did my best...
P.S. This is another good use of the Ditto Looper!

Andreas Oberg is one of the most dynamic players today in Jazz and beyond. When he's not giving video exchange feedback to members of his Online Jazz & More Guitar School, he performs and writes songs with high profile Korean recording artists. Andreas took some time to record four really cool jazz guitar licks that we are making available for everyone to check out at no charge. They are great to add into your playing no matter what style you play.
I picked up some stuff from my storage locker today, and found a box with this "Platinum" award inside. It's fun to think back to the days when I had big hair, big hits, and big vinyl album collection. But I must admit that I enjoy the present day a lot too. It's been more than 20 years since "Lean Into It" was released, and I've played a lot of guitar since that time. And I plan on playing a lot more. Rock and Roll... Past, present, and future!
