In this section, you can have call and response sessions with experienced skratch djs. They'll skratch the questions, and you skratch the answers. Here, you can try to copy them or just freestyle. Try out the skratches you've learned and put them together in your own way. It's that easy!

When you get better, you can post your own call and response "sessions" for the training dojo so that others can skratch along with you too!

[MUSIC]
All right, this scratch is tazers.
And it's kind of like lasers [NOISE] only
you're doing it up here.
[NOISE] And you're using the fader.
Two click, like, kind of like a flare.
[NOISE]
[MUSIC]
And, DJ Rafik who's a world champion
showed me that scratch.
He said that he saw a DJ in Germany
pulling it back.
And I guess Rafik went back backward and
forward.
[MUSIC]
[SOUND]
And those are taser's.
I guess we can kinda do it slow.
It's just basically kinda just flinging
the record back.
I'm not too hard, but just,
[NOISE] just right to where it comes back
to the beginning almost.
[MUSIC]
And
give it a little push kinda like a fling.
So, so it's.
[MUSIC]
You know lasers like this, but
with two hands, I mean with one hand.
[SOUND]
And
those are, that's what's going on without
the fader.
But with the fader it's like.
[SOUND]
So what I'm doing on the fader is.
[SOUND]
It's actually an original flare.
Like remember the original flare where
it's like you cut the sound off.
[SOUND]
And you give a turn back.
[SOUND] That's the original flare.
[SOUND]
So, on the record, it's just.
[SOUND] Just a baby.
So you kind of do a baby with the laser
with one finger.
[SOUND]
And so you just the flare on there.
[MUSIC]
And those are tazers.
So once again slow.
[MUSIC]
It's the original flair.
[MUSIC]
And that is how to do a taser.
[MUSIC]
Tasers.
