In this section, you can have call and response sessions with experienced skratch djs. They'll skratch the questions, and you skratch the answers. Here, you can try to copy them or just freestyle. Try out the skratches you've learned and put them together in your own way. It's that easy!

When you get better, you can post your own call and response "sessions" for the training dojo so that others can skratch along with you too!

All right, these are poison darts.
Basically what they are are tears with one
clicks, but just really fast.
And there's stiff tears as well.
Stiff moving tears.
[MUSIC]
And the way to get used to that is of
course, by doing them slow, so.
[SOUND]
So really slow is-
[MUSIC]
[SOUND]
I'm just cutting the sound in half, right?
So every movement is, is gonna be cut in
half.
So open fader, you know, it's a flair.
So it's gonna be open in the beginning,
and open at the end.
[MUSIC]
And then if you know how to do waves.
[SOUND]
You could do the one clicks and it goes.
[SOUND]
You're gonna get
get you used to doing those poison darts.
[MUSIC]
[SOUND] And those are poison darts.
So yeah, practice those, those are pretty
important, they're kinda fun.
And the reason why I call them poison
darts is cuz I was watching that move
Apocalypto and you know, they got the, the
poison darts.
You know, the guy goes in the front of it
and shoots it in reverse.
Whatever.
But those are poison darts, yeah.
[MUSIC]
Kinda really, really technical scratch.
But yeah.
Poison darts.
