In this section, you can have call and response sessions with experienced skratch djs. They'll skratch the questions, and you skratch the answers. Here, you can try to copy them or just freestyle. Try out the skratches you've learned and put them together in your own way. It's that easy!

When you get better, you can post your own call and response "sessions" for the training dojo so that others can skratch along with you too!

[MUSIC]
Sick.
Alright check out this combo.
This is for you it's five click flare
forward,
five click flare backward, and
four tears, forward.
And then, five click tears backward, five
click tears forward.
And five, four tears backwards, all right.
So that is a total of 16 notes, both ways,
32 notes.
Anyways, I'll explain all that later, but
it goes like this.
[MUSIC]
[SOUND]
[MUSIC]
Anyway, so let's write that down
on the board.
Where's the eraser at?
[MUSIC]
All right.
So those are bits and that's the type
looks pretty sick.
[MUSIC]
All right, where's the marker at?
[MUSIC]
It goes like this.
Forward,.
[SOUND] Backwards and then one, two,
three, four tares.
[MUSIC]
Four.
>> Right.
One.
two.
three, four.
All right.
So this one is a five click flare.
Which makes six notes.
All right?
So five,
that would be
[MUSIC]
One two, three four.
One, two, three, four,
five, six, notes.
One, two, three, four, five, six notes
there.
There's twelve notes.
One, two, three, four tares there.
Four.
So a total of sixteen notes.
All right.
And then, you can, on the way back, it
goes the opposite, right?
So we're gonna do, it's actually a mirror
of this.
I was at Vadra's house, and he was showing
me some scratches,
so I did my little twist on one of his
scratches here.
One, two, three, four, five, six, and
then four tears back one
[MUSIC]
Two, three, four.
[MUSIC]
All right, so that's what that scratch is.
Yeah.
[MUSIC]
Call it a kind of like tentacles, but
like a massive version of tentacles so.
And since it goes both ways, I call it a
two headed octopus.
All right?
[MUSIC]
[SOUND]
[MUSIC]
Anyway, see how, you as you can see,
I'm instead of doing the forward tares.
I always do like that snake
[MUSIC]
[SOUND]
[MUSIC]
You can do that too but yeah.
Hope that
[MUSIC]
Inspires your mind to
do other combos in there.
So, all right,
[MUSIC]
