In this section, you can have call and response sessions with experienced skratch djs. They'll skratch the questions, and you skratch the answers. Here, you can try to copy them or just freestyle. Try out the skratches you've learned and put them together in your own way. It's that easy!

When you get better, you can post your own call and response "sessions" for the training dojo so that others can skratch along with you too!

[MUSIC]
All right.
So, we're gonna talk about tears and
doing slow tears will make all your other
skratches sound crazy.
[MUSIC]
All right.
Did you guys see that?
So, I was doing these things.
[MUSIC]
All right?
So, that's two back, one forward, right?
[SOUND]
Like, I'm just transforming it.
[SOUND]
[MUSIC]
All right.
So, those slow tears will make all your
fast skratching sound, you know, really
good because it, there's a balance there,
slow and fast.
All right?
So, practice, practice all your skratches,
slow and fast.
I always tell everyone that.
So, yeah.
Or, you can do the, the other tear, which
is two forward, one back.
[MUSIC]
All right, so.
[MUSIC]
Yeah.
That's the best thing I can tell you right
now is just practice your slow tears,
as well as everything in between.
Triplet versions, fast versions of them.
And, it's gonna make everything like
really kind of balanced.
All right?
So, yeah.
So, when I say one forward, two back.
One forward, two, a little pause there,
back.
The other one is two forward, one back.
All right?
Let's do that top one, all right?
I'm transforming a two, but you don't, you
don't have to,
you can just do it without it.
[NOISE]
And,
the bottom
one [NOISE].
Now, if you wanna combine both and become
the prism [NOISE].
[MUSIC]
You get the idea, right?
So, yeah.
Practice them slow tears.
