In this section, you can have call and response sessions with experienced skratch djs. They'll skratch the questions, and you skratch the answers. Here, you can try to copy them or just freestyle. Try out the skratches you've learned and put them together in your own way. It's that easy!

When you get better, you can post your own call and response "sessions" for the training dojo so that others can skratch along with you too!

[MUSIC]
alright,
we're gonna do a really simple class right
now, but it sounds.
[MUSIC]
Every time I do it,
people are like, what was that?
But it's really simple, a really simple
scratch.
[SOUND]
Anyway what is that scratch?
[MUSIC]
I'm basically just chirping
into a crab all right, so.
[SOUND] Chirping.
[SOUND]
Oops, that's a skipping.
[SOUND]
Chirping into crab.
[SOUND] I'm storing a crabs in there.
[SOUND]
And
the crab is pretty much just I'm just
doing a baby doing a crab over it [SOUND]
It's actually what is this now?
I'm using three fingers, so it's making
four notes.
Because, it's just like a clover tear, you
know?
[SOUND]
Over the crab you can make it faster.
So, still the exact same thing, four
notes.
[SOUND]
And with the crab you can make it faster.
[SOUND]
And I'm just throwing chirps in there.
[SOUND]
All right, so that's pretty much it.
It's pretty simple.
Let's do it slow motion.
[SOUND]
chirps right?
[SOUND] Into.
[SOUND] Crabs.
[SOUND] All right.
You can do clover crabs too if you want.
[SOUND]
That's kind of like the clover tear.
Yeah, clover tear.
[SOUND] But you're doing a, you know, with
the three click, three click clover tear.
Remember this?
[SOUND]
But with the crab.
You can do it faster.
[SOUND]
Okay.
Do the chirps in there.
[SOUND]
All right, slow motion again.
[SOUND]
All right?
[LAUGH] So there you have it.
Chirps to crabs.
[SOUND]
