[MUSIC]
Just as I've been sitting here,
I came up with a, a use for the Shelton
roll in an ending situation.
This is kind of the Shave and a Haircut
with a, diminished minor third.
Shelton roll.
Sounds like this.
[MUSIC]
So, I'm starting up here at G.
[MUSIC]
Between the 15th and 17th frets.
[MUSIC]
And I arpeggiate that.
[MUSIC]
Move it down three frets or a minor third.
And of course, bring the index across to
the first string.
Forward roll.
[MUSIC]
Another three frets down.
[MUSIC]
Another three frets down.
[MUSIC]
And
with with my pinky.
Staying where it is for a moment, and
letting go of the other fingers.
A slide eight to nine on the first string.
[MUSIC]
See.
[MUSIC]
So, a quick slide up.
[MUSIC]
With the pinky.
[MUSIC]
So, one more time.
[MUSIC]
And one more time slowed down.
[MUSIC]
You'll be a hit at parties once you learn
this lick.
