Beyond Stereo

My tinkering won't stop. I added one more pedal (a TC Electronic Vortex Flanger mini), and now the pedalboard can run three amps. (I asked the promoters to provide me with three amps, so I've got to use them!) The signal path is:

Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Signature Wah

TC Electronic PolyTune 2 mini

Fulltone Deja Vibe

MXR Phase 90 Script with LED

MXR Distortion Plus

TC Electronic MojoMojo Overdrive

TC Electonic Alter Ego V2 Vintage Echo which has stereo outputs...

Output 1 goes to Lehle Little Dual splitter, which will feed two amps with identical "dry" sound.

Output 2 goes to the Vortex Flanger mini, which will feed one amp with "wet" sound (The mix of dry and flange creates a sound similar to Robin Trower's "Bridge of Sighs.")

I'll spread the three amps across the stage, and the sound engineer will probably wonder why he bothered to bring a P.A. system. But after seeing several YouTube videos (from clinics) where my guitar is too low in the mix, I decided to take action... with amps everywhere!

Will the pedalboard evolve as the tour goes on? Only time will tell!

Thank you,

Paul
