A quiet revolution within the bass world is expected to start this month with the launch of the new online School of Bass headed up by Missy Raines. Bass players will now be able to learn the instrument online from one of the most popular figures in the Bluegrass world as part of the new ArtistWorks Academy of Bluegrass. The high-profile Academy faculty also includes Tony Trischka (banjo), Mike Marshall (mandolin), Bryan Sutton (guitar) and Darol Anger (fiddle) who will give personalized instruction online using innovative Video Exchanges™.

The School of Bass with Missy Raines will offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced bass players access to one of the most comprehensive bass curriculums, as well as a number of interactive social features. Every student at the bass school has the opportunity to send a recorded video of themselves practicing and receive a personal video response from Missy with individualized instruction on how to progress.

Speaking about the forthcoming launch of the School of Bass, Missy Raines said:

"This is an exciting time for the bass world, especially the Bluegrass Bass world! ArtistWorks are launching an online school for bluegrass bass that has no equal. The Academy of Bluegrass's School of Bass offers a community-like setting where you can learn about ALL things Bass! Come join us!"
