TELL US MORE ABOUT SKRATCHFEST:

Dj Hypnotize: It's going down Feb. 27th 2016. It will be part of the Hip Hop Culture Fest celebration at Warehouse Live in Houston, Texas. A lot of well known turntablists and DJs from around the world will be there. We have some big names and surprises on the lineup for every element of hip hop as well as some local artists who are very talented as well.

HOW DID IT THE IDEA COME ABOUT?

Dj Hypnotize: I've had the Idea for SkratchFest since around 2008-2009 when I woke up one day and was like hey, there's no festival to celebrate skratching... so I approached a few people to share my idea and get support. Quickly I realized I'd have to do it on my own so I got with my partners - it all started from there.
