On the Road Again Pt.1: Spring Tour dates

Tour season is starting up again and I’ll be on the road most of the time from late March through late May (Summer/Fall dates TBA). As always, I’ll have my laptop & will respond to VEs from hotel rooms as we go so you can send them as usual, and there are if any Blaster shows near you I hope we have the chance to meet in person!

Back from Blue Bay Festival, Ukraine

hey all,

Just got back from the Blue Bay Festival just by the black sea in Ukraine. I had a great time performing as one of the headliners together with the Ukranian band "Lush Life". there were a few really great acts performing at the festival and I was delighted to see my friend Bireli Lagrene again. He played an awesome show together with his band, I haven't seen him since we did a few shows together in paris 2009.

Also I was happy to meet Nikitas, one of the young students studying guitar with me online on this site. We got to talk a bit and play a few songs. Looking forward following this young man's progress.

I was also awarded with a guitar from the Ukranian builder AVAKS at a cermony on the main stage. Very unexpected but honoring to receive such a fine gift...

Hey,

I'm happy to be back in Ukraine on the 5th of September for a festival gig. I'll be one of the headlines along with great names such as Bireli Lagrene.

I'll be the featured soloist w the Ukranian swing group Lush Life, led by Sergey Ovsianikov who used to be a student at this very site :)

Really looking forward meeting the Ukranian audience again for the first time in 5 years.

Arrived safely on the island of Martinique!

hey,

i've arrived safely on martinique and i'm gettin' ready for my festival performance on saturday and my clinic on sunday. yesterday i had a little rehearsal with the bassist and the drummer and i also did a little solo performance on the national radio station. some of the listeners then called in and asked questions. this island is truly a paradise, so beautiful.
