10. Data Subject Rights

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from them. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided data, we will delete it promptly.

UK/EU/EEA (GDPR)

You may request access to, correction, deletion, or restriction of your Personal Data, and have the right to data portability and to withdraw consent.

11. Do Not Track

Through the use of the Osano CMP, ArtistWorks respects browser-based privacy signals such as Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or extension sends these signals, we will apply the appropriate privacy preferences automatically.

12. Protecting Your Personal Information

We implement technical and procedural safeguards, but cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that the internet is inherently insecure and agree to notify us of any compromise to your account credentials.

If you are outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States, where it will be processed under U.S. law.

How to Delete Your Account

To permanently delete your ArtistWorks account:

  1. Log into your ArtistWorks account at https://artistworks.com
  2. Navigate to Account Overview from the top-left menu
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete Account
  4. Read and acknowledge the consequences of deletion
  5. Confirm your decision by entering your password
  6. Click Permanently Delete Account

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

  • All personal data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days, unless we are required to retain certain information by law or for legitimate business purposes.
  • Any active subscriptions must be cancelled prior to deletion. You will not be able to access or recover digital content after deletion.
  • Downloaded content may no longer function and cannot be re-licensed or restored.
  • Content you've shared publicly (e.g. forum posts, course comments) may remain visible, but will be anonymized or pseudonymized.
  • Some limited data may be retained in backup or archival systems, but will be securely isolated and inaccessible for active use.
