About the educator
Alex Hargreaves
A touring fiddler with Billy Strings and former member of the GRAMMY-winning Turtle Island Quartet, he has performed with Béla Fleck, Chris Thile, David Grisman, and Jerry Douglas. A faculty member at The New School, he's known for modern improvisational and cross-genre fiddle playing.
