An influential fiddler known for old time, bluegrass, Celtic, and Scandinavian styles, she began touring at fourteen with Darol Anger's Republic of Strings. She's performed with Béla Fleck, Chris Thile, Abigail Washburn, and Yonder Mountain String Band, and leads the acclaimed quartet Hawktail.
