A three-time GRAMMY-nominated mandolinist and pioneer of New Acoustic Music, he's a former member of the groundbreaking David Grisman Quintet. He has collaborated with Béla Fleck, Chris Thile, Edgar Meyer, and Joshua Bell, and is a renowned performer, recording artist, and roots educator.
