Jazz Advanced, Lydian Sharp 9 Sharp 5.
There's one more mode I would like you
to try from the A harmonic major scale.
It's the sixth step, and
the notes in the arpeggio will be.
A, C sharp, and E.
So, it's a major 7 sharp 5 arpeggio.
And, if you start this scale,
A harmonic major, and
start it from F, you will get,
you will get these notes.
G sharp.
C sharp.
D, E, and F.
So, there we go.
And, this is this will,
this will work fine over slash chord,
for instance, like E over F.
And, you call this scale
Lydian Sharp 9, Sharp 5.
Let's try some thirds using this scale,
And, let's try to improvise
a little bit over this chord,
using thirds and using the scale.
Which is F Lydian Sharp 9,
Sharp 5 from A harmonic minor.
Root is F.
thank you for
joining me on
this course,
I hope I've given you a lot
of material to work on.
Also take the opportunity to go back to
the jazz basic course, cause there's some
pretty interesting stuff there to
that you can shake out and practice.
And, don't forget to send me some
videos so I can give you some feedback.
That's the whole point about this site,
so we'll make sure you learn
everything you can learn and more.
Thank you.
