Andreas Oberg is a guitar virtuoso known for his incredibly fast playing and deep knowledge of the fretboard. Andreas started playing guitar when he was 8 years old and went on to graduate from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where he studied guitar intensively. He has since gone on to perform and record with artists like Les Paul, Martin Taylor, John Patitucci, Michael Manring, Joey DeFrancesco, John Pizzarelli and many more. A master of many styles, Andreas often cites George Benson as a main influence. A chameleon of genres, he also is known for his “hot club gypsy style swing,” and his ability to uncannily channel the gypsy jazz style of Django Reinhardt. Aside from his incredible playing, Andreas is a platinum certified songwriter and producer. Since 2011 Andreas has been producing pop songs in the Asian, US and European markets and continues to perform shows around the world.
