This Peery Habits level 2,
muscular lesson number 14.
So on your practice chart this week,
you're going to put muscle builders and
power fingers.
At metronome 100, or if you're playing it
put whatever metronome you have it at
perfectly, and practice it at that speed.
You can choose whatever skips you want.
We're going to continue to practice C
major five finger,
five finger pattern, the one we learned
last week, and
we're going to learn new G major five
finger pattern.
So, did you figure out the notes of G
Major five finger pattern?
Let's go through it and check.
Remember, our whole step half step pattern
is whole, whole, half, whole.
So let's figure that out.
Here we go, starting with G.
Now, go up a whole step.
So, two half steps.
Go up another whole step.
Now here's a half.
it's convenient 'cuz there's no black key
there so we just go to the next white key.
And up another whole step.
What do you know?
It looks just like C-major.
Okay, let's try G-major, five finger
Hand over hand.
Metronome 100. Ready go. [MUSIC]
Play nice and deeply, very curved fingers.
Stay right with the metronome.
No faster on this exercise.
Get those thumbs on the key.
No hang offs.
Get that up there.
Your fingers are looking good, so just
keep watching those thumbs,
curve the fingers and be practicing C and
G five finger pattern, one time everyday
five days this week.
Then you'll be ready
to go onto lesson number 15.
