I'd like to end this discussion
of the Dorian mode by playing
another great Irish song.
It's called The Star of the County Down,
I recorded this with The Fleck Tones
in a totally different style.
And with a great folk
singer named Jim Post.
So I've learned it in different ways but
this is the basic melody,
it's in four four.
it repeats.
I threw a few
little Irish
ornaments in
there, and
I played a few
intervals and
The Irish ornaments
Just a quick little flip to the next
it's not hard to do.
You can move the harmonica
or move your mouth
or a combination of both.
