Here's a vibrato exercise over the chord
changes for
Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain, but
you're gonna sing with me just
a tone with a vowel sound.
And try to match my vibrato,
sometimes I'll be doing a fast vibrato,
sometimes slow.
Sometimes I'll be modulating the pitch,
sometimes I'll be modulating the volume.
I'm not gonna tell you what I'm doing,
I just want you to listen and
try to match me so
that you're imitating what you hear.
Then there will be a section where I sing,
and
you sing back to me,
like a call and response.
And then the track will be
available just on its own,
without me at all, so
that you can practice playing with
these different elements
of vibrato by yourself.
