>> So, now
that we've got these moving
in a voces with this seventh interval, and
you've got it worked out with
the root note on the sixth string, the
fifth string, and the fourth string.
I'll, I'll try and place this now and find
some transition points.
So it'll be like this.
I'm gonna do a transition point here,
I think I'll going on this,
I'll go on this string just a little bit
longer, up to here.
I'll do a transition point here, I think.
It's tricky when you get up here.
[LAUGH] Just trying to get your fingers in
So that's, that's doing the doing this
this exercise with the moving seventh.
Right across the fretboard and the length
of the fretboard.
And finding those, those transition
Again, you can mess around with this a
little more with
So we can use that same, that, that same
idea, changing from one string to another
and then make up little melodies.
With that, and also maybe you don't want
to hold the, the root note or
the tenth note all the time.
You can come up with little ideas, so you
can play things like this
You know, play around with that
a, a little bit.
Now, we're starting to get a line moving.
We're starting to get that seventh moving.
We're using the, the, the bass note, our
And the tenth holding it together, get the
little seventh moving along, But
then also try and
get a little bit adventurous now with the,
with the root note and the tenth.
Don't be too regimented about that.
Maybe arpeggiate it a little bit you know,
we get, get some interesting things going
I'd really like the hear how you get on
So, you know, if you can, if you wanna
send me a video just a very,
very short and simple example.
Show me playing the chords ascending and
Playing these moving lines with the, the
root note and
the tenth with the seventh moving.
And if you've got any ideas, little
melodies, very, very simple.
Just, just, just take it one, one step at
a time, very simple.
If you can, as well, remember keep naming
so that the fretboard orientation will,
will start becoming instinctive.
It'll just all kind of, kind of slot into
But send me a video, I'd love to see it.
And I will respond to that and send you a
