Autumn Leaves is
a beautiful jazz standard.
We're gonna learn it
in the key of E minor,
which is how it appears in the Real Book,
but sometimes people play it in F minor,
particularly if they
play a wind instrument.
This is gonna be our template.
For a lot of fundamental jazz concepts,
okay?
So a lot of the following
lessons are going to be applying
principles to Autumn Leaves specifically,
but all of those principles
will eventually be applied to all
the other songs that we learn.
And so
I want you to just keep that in mind as we
dive into the next batch of lessons.
