this is another one of those examples
where the song it actually identified by
the bass line, which is the hook of the
song.
And we have the use of [SOUND] very
staccato,
short, punchy notes in this.
So, again, if I were to record this I'd
play closer to the bridge and
[MUSIC]
Let's really stick those notes and
give them attitude.
And this is one of those lines that's so
strong that I just hope that the bass
player got writer's credit.
Because the song's identified by that
line.
So, that's what you want to do.
You really want to create lines that are
so
powerful that they become, they become the
song.
This one's doubled with the guitar.
It's not, it's not a guitar line.
It's definitely a bass line.
And the brilliant part is being able to
take one chord,
A minor and create such a powerful atmos,
atmosphere.
And it goes like this.
