I'm gonna play a song now,
it's a medium tempo funk, groove in E flat
And, it's funny cuz when you hear me
playing this song, the bulk of the song,
half of it is I'm slapping and half of it
I'm fingering.
And it sounds like I can't make up my mind
between which one I want to do but
on the verses basically I'm doing the.
And then on the, on the B section.
that's a nice way to kind of balance out
the sound of the song.
And you'll notice that, at the front I'm
trying to be a guitar player,
on the intro so, I'm using my fingernail
as a pick.
Doing a little back picking,
double strokes, and, and a few trills.
So check it out as we put it all together.
Here's your chance to show me what you got
on this.
You get to play with my good buddies.
On drums, Ricky Lawson, and on keyboards,
Tracy Carter.
And don't forget, check out some of the
other video exchanges.
See what they did and then send me yours.
And I'll get back to you on how you did.
All right, let's have some fun.
