One of the things you may have noticed,
when you see me play is me slipping and
sliding all over the bass.
[SOUND] And, I figure you have all of this
real estate here.
And, there are more than, a few ways to
get around it.
So, I love using slides to get me into a
song,
into a ballad, and, you know, say we have
a nice ballad, key of A [SOUND] and this
[SOUND].
You know, or you'll hear me using the
slides and sometimes when it's a,
a funky passage in there.
[SOUND] And, you know, I'll use chords
sometimes.
[SOUND] Grab two note, two note slide.
[SOUND] Or we're doing the, the last note
[MUSIC]
And then just [SOUND] pull off it,
slide off it.
So, I'd like to demonstrate a couple of
slides for you with a,
drum track by my good buddy J.R, John
Robinson.
[MUSIC]
So, that's what we're talking about when
we're sliding around the bass.
Check it out.
Try it out.
