In this section, you can have call and response sessions with experienced skratch djs. They'll skratch the questions, and you skratch the answers. Here, you can try to copy them or just freestyle. Try out the skratches you've learned and put them together in your own way. It's that easy!

When you get better, you can post your own call and response "sessions" for the training dojo so that others can skratch along with you too!

[MUSIC]
All right, these are quasars.
This is the same family as the phasers,
tasers, lasers, kind of thing your kind,
your kind of doing the flings with the
records.
So, like remember how laser was with like
the two hands.
[SOUND]
The ph taser is with the one hand.
[MUSIC]
And the quasar's with this finger and
the thumb.
All right, so this finger is gonna be a
pull.
This thumb is gonna be a push.
So it's kinda, instead of going like this.
[MUSIC]
You're gonna do that with these
two fingers.
[MUSIC]
That's a quasar.
[MUSIC]
And
on the fade I'm gonna be doing a
boomerang.
[MUSIC]
So once again.
This is a pull, then thumb's a push.
Pull, push.
Pull, push, pull, push, pull, push.
[SOUND]
And that's a baby right there,
that kind of sound, like it's all lasered
out.
[SOUND] So, whatever techniques you wanna
throw over the baby,
like, with a baby you can do boomerangs.
[SOUND] You can do chirps.
[SOUND] You know, you can do the military.
[SOUND]
And
you do original flare
[MUSIC]
You can do all that stuff with the quasar
[MUSIC]
So experiment with that and
feel free to send me a video of.
Of different ways of doing that.
I'm sure you guys are gonna come up with
different combinations in
in that style with the Quasar, so yeah,
let me know.
And we'll send you a video of of what we
think about it, and yeah.
It'll be cool, cool, cool.
