In this section, you can have call and response sessions with experienced skratch djs. They'll skratch the questions, and you skratch the answers. Here, you can try to copy them or just freestyle. Try out the skratches you've learned and put them together in your own way. It's that easy!

When you get better, you can post your own call and response "sessions" for the training dojo so that others can skratch along with you too!

all right,
this scratch is called the one-click
prism.
And this is for the advanced guys.
If you don't know how to do prism scratch.
Then actually, yeah, if you, if you wanna
try to learn it, go for it.
But if, you should learn a prism scratch
first.
But maybe not.
Maybe you can learn this first and then go
into the two-click prism.
This is a one-click prism and what it is
is the two clicks, as you can see,
are right here, right at the tears, right
in between the tears, right?
So it's like,.
[SOUND]
Alright?
That's the scratch, I'll do a slow motion,
alright?
[SOUND]
Alight?
And what's great about this scratch is if
you're doing a a super fast,
if you want to do it super fast, it sounds
really sick.
[SOUND]
Might have skipped.
Alright anyways, so let's try to
even break it down more than that.
Two tears forward.
Like, you know, for
those of you who already know the prism
scratch it's six notes, right?
One, two, back, forward, then two back.
And then you put the clicks right here, on
the ends, right?
Let's do it.
I'll do it super slow, okay?
[SOUND] That's this part.
One, two, three, alright?
So you got [SOUND] And you got this part
here forward to back.
[SOUND] Alright?
[SOUND]
So let's try to do it.
[SOUND]
Let's try to just go from super fast
to super slow.
[SOUND]
[LAUGH] I got lost there.
[SOUND]
Anyway you get the idea.
For those of you guys who know the prism
scratch, this is gonna be very handy for
you in the future cuz it's really great
with, with drums.
But we can get into that.
We'll get into that later, but let me, let
me just try it with the drums real quick.
I just wanna show you what's so dope about
this.
[SOUND]
I'm gonna use a boo-cat.
All right, dope stuff you can do with that
one click prism scratch.
And yeah.
All right, have fun with that one.
