Hey,
Hoping all of you've had a great start of October. I'm looking forward until the 23rd when my latest co-write "Message" will be released in Japan.
The artist is BoA, also known as the queen of KPOP. It's a great honor to have a single released with such a legendary singer/performer.
This song actually features a lot of my acoustic guitar playing, both rhythm, fills and a solo. There is a preview on youtube so check it out!

Doc Watson Tribute feat. Bryan Sutton, David Holt, T. Michael Coleman

A while back we took a trip out to Freight and Salvage in Berkeley and filmed Bryan Sutton playing guitar with David Holt and T. Michael Coleman as the acoustic supergroup "Sutton, Holt and Coleman". The tour was in honor of the late great flatpicker Doc Watson, who's always been a hero and inspiration to Bryan. We're excited to announce that the videos are edited and first set has been uploaded to the Music+ Area, along with an exclusive backstage interview we did with the fellas. It's always a treat when our artists come back to visit us in our studio out in Napa, CA - even more so when there's two of them! Nathan East recently was in town recording some new bass lessons for his students (which are coming soon), and we took the opportunity to get him together with another of our artists, Paul Gilbert. You'd think that because these two both live in the Los Angles area and have been playing professionally for decades that they'd have run into each other before - but as it turns out, this was their first time not just playing together, but also meeting each other!
It was a great session, filled with plenty of laughs and some great jamming. Stay tuned for the all the Official Footage from this session coming soon to both Nathan and Paul's online schools!
