SHINee goes nr 9 on the Global Album Sales chart

hey all, hoping you're having a nice summer so far! I'm off to southern Sweden tomorrow for a few days of vacation. Just received the great news that the SHINee album where I co wrote the featured track "Breaking News" is currently nr 9 on the world chart, that means that only 8 other releases world wide is selling more at the moment (physical albums + downloads). I'm also doing a little guitar solo on that track which is kind of a special bonus :)
I have also started working on my next solo project together w the fantastic producer Erik Lidbom. I'll keep you posted on the progress with that project. At the moment w have recorded five new songs. Me and erik wrote them all except for two that we wrote together with the amazing Jonah Nilsson from Dirty Loops.
There will soon be new lessons posted on the site, waiting for the ArtistWorks tech team to get one up this week!

new songs releases and another nr 2 on the japanese chart!

Hey all!
Several of my songs were released last week! Korean popstar boyband SHINee started off at Nr 2 on the Japanese album chart w the new album "Boys meet U" including my featured co-write "Breaking News": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hn6CS1BgVcM
The album sold around 57 000 physical albums during the first week and ended up at place nr 2 on the weekly chart as well.
I actually play a guitar solo on this one but the video is just a shorter preview version :) Also MiChi's new digital single "Heartbeat" started at Nr 2 on Japanese itunes dance chart and Alexsandra Jablonka's new single "SMS" was released in Poland and posted on her Youtube Vevo channel.

Just found this nice cover of my original composition "Venus" from my album Solo. It's performed on nylon string guitar by Alex Ciavarelli who's also known as AlexC on this site. It's slightly different from the original and i enjoyed watching it. Good job!

Nr 3 in Japan on the Oricon single chart w Girls Generation

A little snippet of my latest Girls Generation/SNSD song "Lingua Franca" featuring myself on acoustic guitar! Included on their new single album "Love and Girls", peaking at Nr 3 on the Japanese single chart the other day. This song has a lot of interesting chord changes, especially the chorus and the mid section.. a lot of jazz harmonies.
So much fun to write it from scratch together w Jon Hallgren and Ylva Dimberg.
