Martin Taylor has annouced a new tour that coincides with the release of a new album with long time friend and collaborator Tommy Emmanuel, titled The Colonel & The Governor.  The first date of the tour will be at the Ulster Hall in Northern Ireland on March 2nd, and the album will be released on March 4th.  Click on the image (or here) for all tour dates!

Martin Taylor played a show at the Napa Valley Opera House last night as a part of the International Guitar Night tour he's currently on with fellow guitarists Brian Gore, Solorazaf, and Celso Machado. This year marks the 12th North American tour for the IGN, which was founded by Brian Gore in 1995. Before the show, the performers stopped by the ArtistWorks studio to see where Martin records his online guitar lessons for his solo jazz guitar school.

I don’t want to waste your time.  Really I don’t.  As a matter of fact, I don’t even have time to waste your time.  So, if you’re a person with endless amounts of opportunity and energy to devote to practicing guitar, stop reading this and go enjoy your ArtistWorks guitar lessons.  For those of you in a similar situation to mine, maybe you can put “finish reading blog” on the list with the rest of the things you’d eventually like to get to.  But if you'd like some ideas about how you can increase your practice time without cutting into the rest of your day, read on.
