We are proud to announce that fingerstyle guitarist Martin Taylor was awarded 'Best Live Jazz' by the Scottish Jazz Federation last night. It is the first time Martin has received a music award in his home country of Scotland, and he was particularly happy that he won by a public vote. Congrats Martin, well deserved!
Martin wasn't able to attend the ceremony unfortunately; his flight got delayed coming home from San Francisco after recording more fingerstyle guitar lessons at our Napa studio for his online guitar school. Here is his accpeatence speech which was read out on his behalf:

It's always exciting when a famous musician stops by the office. Today fingerstyle guitar teacher Martin Taylor is in the ArtistWorks studio recording more guitar lessons for his students. Martin recently played a show with jazz vocalist Alison Burns at the Castello di Amorosa, which was a fundraiser for the Cameo Cinema of St. Helena (the oldest remaining single screen theater in the United States). Check out the pictures below and be on the lookout for more fingerstyle guitar lessons from Martin coming soon!

CCTV’s Mark Niu spoke with a student of Martin Taylor, who teaches fingerstyle guitar lessons online at ArtistWorks.
"It's just amazing." says Mike Wollenberg, in regards to learning how to play guitar from one of his heroes, Martin Taylor.
"[You can] look at him playing and dissect it…and with the overhead camera, [and] being able to slow it down, you can see exactly how his hand is moving."
