Hey all,

A little update from the road. I just spent 4 great days in Switzerland writing w DJ Antoine for his next album together w Mad Mark and Yannis. Antoine is a huge name on the European DJ scene with a string of hit songs like "Ma Cherie" and he is also a judge of the German Idol show. 4 exciting songs were created together and it was a great hang

This week I also had another Nr 1 in Japan (my 11th total on the single/album charts combined), this time w the boyband Johnny's West. The mini album has sold around 80k so far during the first week and there's still a shot a gold record. The song "Party Maniacs" that I co-wrote is included on the album. Glad it finally found a home!  This week I also had two songs on the 1st mini album by the Korean band "Oh my Girl". Thx to my hard working publishers partners in Japan, Germany and Korea. More 2 come soon, now back to the studio :)

Have a great Sunday!

NAMM is the largest most prestigeous Music Industry Trade Show in the world.

It is not open to the general public, and thousands of companies and musicians (such as Stevie Wonder) attend. It takes place each year in Southern California. This year as I did last year, I attended through my membership in the Grammy's.

I had several on camera interviews includng some interviews about different singer-gear at company booths such as Sennheiser, TC-Helicon and Hercules Stands.

I also had meetings with a number of other mic and music equipment companies.

A number of companies will be sending me new equipment to test and review which I'll share with all my ArtistWorks voice students as it happens.

Hey,

I'm happy to announce the new Christmas EP "Christmas Dream" by popular Swedish singer Andreas Weise.

I co-wrote all 4 songs together with Fredrik Hult and Dan Sundquist. The style is swing and American 50's music and on this album I play both guitar and piano + singing the background vocals together with the others.

I have two guitar solos, on "Holiday Honeymoon" and "Christmas Dream". Check it out and get into that Christmas spirit!

Regards Andreas

How to Sing Better, Advice from Celebrity Voice & Performance Coach Jeannie Deva

I like to keep things simple: Singing better simply means to be able to do more of the things you want to do with your voice and to do them reliably. True, it usually includes things like singing with more range, better tone, stamina, passion, volume and power as well as singing in tune and without pain. But most importantly, that you can use your singing voice freely and express yourself musically in the ways you intend.

Your Body, Your Instrument

Since your body is your instrument, your voice needs the right kinds of exercise and approach to bring it up to peak performance. On the other hand, you may not really need or want to reach your full potential. That’s OK. Whatever degree of improvement satisfies your singing goal, that’s adequate. And that’s what I consider the purpose and goal of technique – to sing what you want to sing in the way you want to sing it and maintain your vocal health. For those of you who perform there is one more step: To express yourself, connect with and emotionally move your audience.
