Hey Jazz Guitarists!

Hope you are all doing well. I just finished a week in japan with my Silhouette Quartette with Janek Gwizdala, Matt King and the great Peter Erskine on drums. We had a wonderful time playing at The Blue Note in Nagoya and in Tokyo at The Cotton Club. The band, crew and staff at both places were amazing - and let's not forget the Japanese fans. Wonderful to sit in with harvey Mason's Chameleon Band at The Blue Note in Tokyo too!

Here is a shot of the band on stage

I will be home for only a few short days before I set out to do a bunch of dates in June with Fourplay. We have been off for six months so I am eager to play with Bob James, Nathan East and Harvey Mason again! We will be trying out new music for our new 25th Anniversery CD coming up too... so if you check my web site and live near one of the gigs - please come down!

Hey Gang!

I just flew from JFK to Tokyo and connected to Osaka.... whew! Lots of frequent flyer miles on that trip!

I am doing a few shows with Keiko Matsui's band along with my good buddy Kirk Whalum, and then a week with my own "Silhouette Quartette" in Nagoya and Tokyo next week.

I will try and post some pix as we go and maybe even a video or two...

I will also be trying out doing some VE's with my iPad and iRig... wish me luck;-)

In the mean time keep on hitting those lessons and keep in touch.

Our campus is the whole world - and I'll see ya 'round it!
