While working through a guided path of lessons curated by a true master musician, members are given the option to swap videos with their teacher, ask questions, and receive tailored feedback specific to their needs. Members can also watch and learn from the interactions their teacher is having with their fellow students. How is Video Exchange different than a real-time virtual lesson?
Unlike real-time virtual lessons, Video Exchange allows for an asynchronous learning experience, meaning that both the student and teacher can connect directly but can do so by submitting videos and responses on their own time and their own schedules.
Are my Video Exchange submissions public?
Video Exchanges are not public. However, every Video Exchange between a student and teacher is available for other students within that course to view and learn from. This creates a supportive, encouraging community of like-minded players who can learn from not only the master musician teaching the course, but from one another as well.
Do I need special equipment to submit a Video Exchange?
No. You can capture and upload Video Exchanges directly from your smartphone or computer. You can also access and view response videos anywhere, anytime, and on any device.
How quickly and often do teachers respond to Video Exchange submissions?
Our instructors prioritize these submissions and are passionate about supporting students on their learning journey. While response times can vary, rest assured that your submission will be reviewed and responded to with thoughtful, detailed feedback.
