Hello Everyone! Liz and I have arrived home safely from our wonderful, and much needed vacation in Hawaii. Traveling conditions were extremely difficult due to the heavy snowfall across North West Europe, but miraculously, we managed to somehow get to LA in time to catch the ship, and then Heathrow Airport reopened in time for us to fly back in time to spend Christmas Day at our home in Scotland.

The world premier of Martin's "Spirit of Django Orchestral Suite" took place on November 19th at the Floral Pavilion Theatre, New Brighton, England. The piece was commissioned by the Guitar Festival of Great Britain to commemorate the festival's 20 anniversary and celebrate 100 years since the birth of Django Reinhardt.
