I'm currently on tour in the UK with Ulf Wakenius playing our Legacy show and paying homage to our mentors Oscar Peterson & Stephane Grappelli.

Life on the road is pretty hectic but I am still able to respond to video submissions although sometimes I can only give a text response due to poor Wi-Fi signal.

It would be great to see some of my UK students on the tour, so if we're playing in a town near you please come along and say hi.

Martin Taylor USA & Canada Jan/Feb 2019 Tour kicks off this Sunday 6th in New York City with a special guitar night featuring Jon Jorgenson, Frank Vignola, Martin Taylor, & Laurence Juber.

Last weekend I was in Reykjavik, Iceland performing at Guitarrama 2018 with my good buddy, and long time guitar sparring partner, Ulf Wakenius.

Ulf and I played a duo set in the first half of the concert, then in the second half we were joined by Guitarama founder and organiser Bjorn Thoroddsen and the winner of this years Guitarama Award Brynhildur Oddsdottir.

Last week I played a concert at the Edinburgh Jazz Festival with my friend Curtis Stigers. Curtis and I had been talking about working together for some time now. We're both big fans of the recordings that Tony Bennett made with the legendary jazz pianist Bill Evans, so we tried to capture the beautiful laid back vibe that they had on those recordings.

In April I have a short solo tour on the US East Coast and one show in Canada.

It would be great to meet any of my ArtistWorks students who live nearby any of these shows. Please come along and say hi if I'm in a city near you!

We had a wonderful time and plan a return tour in 2019 as well as shows in Sweden, Denmark, France, Canada, South Korea and Japan.

After their very successful Asia tour last November, Martin Taylor & Ulf Wakenius will be taking their Legacy Tour to the UK this March.
